Guo Wenchao, male, Ph.D., a member of the Communist Party of China, was born in September 1969. He is an associate professor and a Second-Grade Senior Supervisor.

He mainly engages in the compilation and research of ancient Chinese language documents, Chinese language teaching research, and applied writing research. He has presided over 6 provincial research projects and published over 30 papers in provincial-level or higher academic journals, co-edited multiple textbooks such as  Concise Applied Writing and Applied Writing, and published multiple articles to Guangming Daily, China Education News, and Hunan Daily. He received a second prize for the Hunan Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award. He has contributed to the drafting of policy documents for the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, including a special research report on the development of preschool education for the Hunan Provincial Committee of the CPC Policy Research Office.

He has won the honors of “Third Session of Excellent Teacher” at Changsha Normal University,  “Advanced Secretary Worker in the Hunan Provincial Education System,”  “Outstanding Communist Party Member in the Process of Excellence Creation and Competition Activities of Hunan Provincial Department of Education’s Organs and Directly Affiliated Institutions,” and “Outstanding Communist Party Member” of the CPC Committee of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education’s Party Committee.

He is a member of the HIE Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of HIE. He oversees discipline inspection and supervision work, and is responsible for the Discipline Inspection Commission and the Office of the Supervisor. He assists in coordinating the Supervision Center and serves as the designated liaison for the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Sports Science and Engineering, and HIE Branch of the Chinese Peasants’ and Workers’ Democratic Party.
